This game is nice, the story is not too complex, but i think they need more area, more map, rather than just using the same area over and over again for different tasks. And there are lots of useless areas, for the example, the garden is too big, where most of the areas are useless, meaning~ nothing can be interacted with in that area. Not even a comment or an eye icon available!
I hate it when there is a 'dead map' inside a game, or a 'dead item', the game designer let us, the gamer-- come into a close view with an item, which, has no use whatsoever in the game! Then why is that item is there--- being able to be zoomed-in in the game for? Just for us to take a good look at it? Give me a break!
I think this is very misleading, disturbing the main purpose and confusing gamers about the main item used to finish the task. There are lots of this kinds of dead items in the new CSI game. They let us come to a very close view with the item just to have a look at it! There is none whatsoever in that item! This is especially more annoying in a detective or crime game. Where we should look for clues. Usually, only those ones that are important or is connected to the game that can be zoomed in or interacted with.
However, in Cleopatra, there are also LOTS of items that are useless --we can take it and just hang it there in our inventory. I mean, why bother? Why bother creating an item that is take-able and touch-able in the game just so that it can be displayed in the inventory, but unusable in the game?
I think this is STUPID! Whatever happen to those good 'ol 'time game designers who knew how to make a good use of items and our inventories.. Where all take-able items are absolutely of good use? I miss those guys! Come out! Come out now! .....
The graphic of Cleopatra is nice, except for the characters. Especially the Cleopatra herself, which looks ugly, not like Cleopatra at all, and Iris, the girlfriends of Thomas from Chaldea--which happens to be the main character in this series of Cleopatra, looks more like a monkey than a human being. Other than that, the music is okay, i like the sound effect. It is very real, especially the sound of the footsteps, it has a very realistic sound of footsteps on different grounds. I can even hear it steps on sands, and it sounded so real that it made me believe that he is stepping on sands!
I can even feel it...when he is stepping on dirt.. I love the footsteps sound effect. It is so believable! GREAT JOB!
The puzzles are moderately difficult. It has a clear hint on how to solve it, although it is still quite difficult solving it since you have to try different methods, guessing from the hints given.
If only they make this game longer, then it would be nicer. I think this game is too short. I finished it in 3 days only, with 6 hours a day. It is really too short!
My Satisfaction: I rate this game 8 out of 10
