This is about a Hippopotamus baby who was saved from the fury of Tsunami waves at the beach of Kenya. Now it is having a very close relationship with a giant turtle in an Animal Aid located in Mambasa city.
The Hippopotamus baby was given a name 'Owen', has a total weight of 300kg. He was sweeped out from Sabaki river to India ocean. And was thrown back to Kenya beach on December 26, before the Rescue team saved him.
After being sweeped away to the Ocean and lost his mother, the Hippopotamus baby became trauma and desperately needs a new mother. Incidentally inside the Animal Aid there is a giant turtle who is able to 'take over'. They swim together, eat and even sleep together. How amazing! This Hippopotamus baby is taken care by a male giant turtle aging almost 50 years old. And that giant turtle is happy to be a 'mom'.
The Hippo baby follows the giant turtle no matter and wherever he goes. If somebody tries to disturb the giant turtle, the Hippo baby will becomes aggresive and tries to protect his 'mom'.
As a baby, this Hippopotamus baby is very soft and natural. A Hippopotamus is a social type animal who likes to live with its mother for 4 years.
real story which emphasize that differences is not a problem if we are comfortable with the others. With this story we can learn-where two creations of God's,who looks totally-totally different, can walk and be together side by side. They are being useful, despite the differences, they fill and complete each other's needs instead. If an animal can do that, I believe we can do better~.
I received this information from a friend of mine through email. This is a very touching and interesting REAL story. And i believe we can learn a lot from this experience.
